A very helpful product specially in a foreign country.

I have this app downloaded to my iPhone 5 and it is nothing more than a dictionary. It does not translate phrases or expressions only words, one at a time. Calling it a translator is a misrepresentation.

I downloaded about 5 different Spanish dictionary apps and this was the best. I like that you dont need to switch between languages modes when typing in words. Great way of displaying results.

wow. fantastic dictionary app

Its a great app. Works perfectly offline and it feels like a traditional dictionary. It has lots of different language combinations; id love, however, to see a spanish-portuguese dictionary. It almost entirely replaces online translarors. It is a bit buggy.

Its very good but its language Portuguese is from Portugal...

Its a great app, Best Translator on the App Store. The only thing that would make this even better would be the addition of Japanese - English translator, then it would be perfect.

Pros: Clean UI. Simple word finder. Offline use. Cons: Not a translator. Does not help with phrases.

This is the best I one of them translation app. Its time to update for the iOS UI.

…not enough words. Too many times I wanted to look up a word only to find its not there. Its okay for standard menu items. Dont be surprised when youre in a nice restaurant and it cant help you understand the sides or desserts. BTW: in France "desserts" has more than one meaning. This app doesnt have a translation for the other one. Ill leave that for you to figure out. Heres a clue; Youll understand when youre waiting for the train.

Great app but it crashes on my 4s (ios 6) the first time I open it -- every time! After the first time it crashes the second time it opens fine.

Pro: Offline dictionary access. Cons: Constantly crashes on startup, requiring multiple attempts to load the app. Slow to start when it actually does. Contains a quite limited vocabulary (maybe 70% translation success?) including only infinitives for verbs. Overall: Not worth the money.

The most beauty and efficient dictionary, in my opnion. It need just update to iOS 7.

Ill echo the many other reviews that report a lack of vocabulary (at least for the English/French and English/Spanish combinations). That said, its still useful (especially with the off line capability) and the interface is polished and simple to use.

I purchased this app for my upcoming Italy trip but I cant download the Italian dictionary on my old 4s or new 6 iPhone. It keeps saying "try again later". Spanish dictionary works fine which does me no good. Waste of $$! :(

I love this app I really do, its like a quick dictionary inside your pocket! I use it to study my languages and practice, but its missing a couple of other words like I feel this dictionary isnt complete yet. Please add more words and verbs to all the dictionaries specially the German-English Dictionary and Swedish-English! And also it needs a update for 7.1 because it keeps kicking me off the app and not working as it did before please update! I would love to give it a full rating but its just the issues! Make it work for iOS8!!

Used to be OK, now its just comically outdated and riddled with bugs. Deleted.

Just spent $5.00 on this to use in Italy and the Italian Dictionary wont even download! I want my money back!!! I would rate it a negative 5 if I could. Its a POS, dont buy it!

Why arent you guys developing this app any further? It used to be awesome, now with iOS 8 its gotten very buggy.
