Trying to use this in restaurants in Florence Italy is pretty frustrating. Nice that it works offline but it doesnt have even half the restaurant words I look for.

Great dictionary. Really like the offline feature. I also enjoy the different ways to say a word when you want to get the meaning of that one word. Excellent dictionary.

This is by far my favorite dictionary/translator app. The design and UX is great, especially the swipe to clear search feature.

This multi-language dictionary app is great for those who need a good offline alternative with reliable translations. Although I cannot speak on behalf of the other languages included for offline download, my review will mostly focus on the Spanish-English translations the application provides. Pros: -Simple, fast and intuitive interface. -Reliable translations according to my knowledge (as I am Hispanic and have been spoken to and studied Spanish since I was very young.) -Ability to access dictionary offline. (Which has been proven extremely beneficial when Im in a no service area or when Im in a 3G slow zone) Cons: -From my experience, the app cannot seem to recognize (most) verbs already conjugated. This can prove to be problematic if one doesnt know the I un-conjugated verb tense or the type of ending I.E. (-ar, -er, -ir) -Not all words are searchable. I feel the app lacks the completeness of a VOX Dictionary, which I have found to be the most complete and accurate Spanish-English dictionary available. Overall, I do understand the developer is providing multiple language packs, and as a result, must update each and every one in a timely and most importantly, accurate and reliable manner. I do hope that the developer does improve this application as it is simply one of the best in terms of UI, price, features, and offline ability. Though the library of terms could be expanded, in time I know that they will. (But hopefully soon).

I like the simplicity of this app and especially that you can just start typing a word in either language that you are translating to/from and it finds it. No need to specify the source language first. I do find the dictionary sometimes lacking in vocabulary, but hopefully it will continue to be expanded.

This app might work without an Internet connection and be inexpensive but Ive found the French dictionary to be practically useless except for the most elementary terms. If you have even a basic knowledge of French this app will not provide much additional help.

Having a quick, intuitive and, most importantly, off-line dictionary in my pocket has been indispensable in my European travels.

Love it. Good for jumping between languages. Would be great to have a dictionary complete in each target language. ie - if I look up a Spanish word, give me its definition on Spanish. Right now, its a good cross reference between languages.

I read a lot & love this app for defining foreign words & phrases in literature. While the French & German dictionaries work well, I never seem to find what I need in the Spanish listings which just seem incomplete. Had to get a separate app just for Spanish.

Very useful with easily downloadable dictionaries in many languages.

Simple, intuitively designed, and pleasing to the eye. Would have rated this app 4/5, however its capability to function offline easily earns it 5.

Excellent translation app love the fact that this is an offline translation app which is basically the main reason I bought this. Totally worth it. I would love to have an English-Russian book please add it. Thank you.

The dictionary is highly useful, however, definite articles should be included with all nouns. To use German language properly, one has to know if its der, die, or das. Well done overall.

This is a good app, and could be really great. However, it needs a larger vocabulary and more phrases would be nice. Please update vocabulary!

I am finding the app very useful in translating from Old Script. Helps to eliminate incorrect transcription (still looking for a scan app).

Excellent app for access to top-notch dictionaries in an array of languages--and its OFF-LINE access! I agree with other reviewers that the app falls short by not providing congugations of verbs; this additional capacity would increase usefulness of this app, undeniably. I love the layout and the clear graphics of each page. I use this app frequently for refining and expanding my facility with Spanish. Many thanks to the developers! I have found it challenging to find sophisticated, rigorous apps for Spanish language learning, and this app qualifies! Thank you, thank you!!
