Doesnt have chinese or japanese languages.

Although it may not have all languages, the languages it does have work really well.

So fast, so reliable. Quickly opens, almost every word Ive needed Ive found! Recommend this app to anyone qui parle anglais et qui veut connaître le français!

While it does not contain many languages, it is a very helpful tool to those who utilize the languages it does contain. Very good app.

I use it all the time and its very informative. The swiping gestures used to access and clear the search bar are wonderful and circumvent tedious taps.

This is the first time ever I rate an application in the AppStore in 3 years. This app is just amazing, the value you get for $1 is unbelievable, just download it now. The interface is so intuitive and well-developed for the iPhone or the iPod touch, wow. The only feature I would request is to be able to hide some languages or to remove some dictionaries I dont need anymore (all of those are free but its 16MB for each additional dictionaries, also I dont need the 2 included ones as Im only translating from French to English or Spanish actually). If I ever go to Italy I will want to download the right dictionaries but being able to remove it after would be awesome too. Even with that little concern, it is still a 5-star app for me and I will recommend it to a lot of friends because its only $1.

All it needs is a way to select a default language, rather than having to pick one from the bookshelf each time the app is opened.

I am thrilled with this app...:) it is incredibly easy to use , just start typing in either language and it figures it out. The fact that it works off line comes in very handy in certain Latin American countries...:)

Good use for school

Very useful and well designed app. I mostly use it for the French and am a bit mystified as to why a simple verb like étranger is not included when all related adjectives and nouns are. Also, when searching a word in french I wish the french word would have its gender indicated. This only appears if i search a word in english and get the french translation. That aside it is extremely nice to find an app such as this free of charge.

When do you most need assistance with a language you speak more or less well? When you are in the "back of beyond" with no hint of an internet connection and someone is trying really hard to communicate something important to you, or vice versa. Now youve got the tool that gives you the words you need when you need them most. And it gives you the words simply, quickly and elegantly. With this App, I am never at a loss for words. Maintenant jai toujours le mot juste. Kudos.

I find it very useful living in Spain. It comes in useful every day. Wouldnt be without it.

The most useful feature of the app, compared to other translators, is that the data is downloaded into your device so you can use it without an internet connection. E.g. I keep data turned off on my iPhone because Im on a prepay plan here in Costa Rica and I dont want to burn my minutes by keeping background apps running while the phone is in my pocket. But I often need to find a Spanish translation for words like turmeric or curtain rod when out shopping. Having the translation data stored in the phone makes this information available wherever I want it.
